Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee
The Ventura County Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee (APAC) was established by the Board of Supervisors in 1976, with revisions in 1988 and 1996. APAC advises the Board, with each Supervisor appointing one agricultural community member, while the Agricultural Commissioner serves as an Ex-Officio Member and provides staff support.
APAC reviews Land Conservation Act applications, zoning, and regulations impacting agriculture. Farmers and the public can provide input during meetings.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in our Camarillo office. Please contact Alec Thille at (805) 933-2926 ext. 1112 to confirm the schedule. Agendas are posted online 3–7 days before meetings.
