Do you get your water from a well on your property?

Have you ever wondered if there are pesticides in that water?

The Department of Pesticide Regulation is offering free, at-home well testing kits to hundreds of Californians.

This information is added to the department’s broader database of groundwater sampling to inform any regulatory or mitigation measures needed to protect our groundwater. DPR scientists routinely monitor hundreds of wells throughout the state in agricultural areas. For the first time, DPR is offering these at-home kits to increase the sampling of wells in areas across the entire state.
